Chinese gaming giant Tencent has announced it’s ending a service that allowed locals to play foreign games.
The company will be updating its ‘speed booster’ app, so it only supports products operating in China.
Tencent declined to comment on the matter, but the move has been made as a regulator body looks to gain influence in the industry, where officially players are only allowed to access titles approved by it.
